Inside Raffaele’s Workspace
What is your favorite item in your workspace?
My all-time favourite physical object is a reproduction of Gaudi's lizard bought in Barcelona. It reminds me of my first solo trip, the desire to go beyond my limits, and it is the one object I always have with me when I move. It conveys my sense of home, and helps me feel good.Â
How do you spark creativity?
Reading. Reading I think is the best way to spend money. I am now so much into audiobooks and Blinkist, but having a physical book always makes the difference of being able to use a pencil and flip through chapters. Approaching reading with a 'question' of what you are reading was great. I also use Literal to keep track and connect with other people through this medium.
How do you manage work-life balance?
For a time, having blocked intervals in my calendar worked. What I have been aware of is what state my mind is in to do certain tasks. If I am in a productive or focus or rest mode, I act according to this regardless of whether it is morning or evening, and all the activities beyond. I have rituals. In general, my north star is to make a difference and have an impact, and I focus on the people who can benefit from my help the most.Â
